Welcome to Russia’s capital city, Moscow! After a warm meet and greet, our representative will transfer you to your accommodation. Following check-in, you will have the rest of the day at your leisure, with shopping, dining, and absolute relaxation opportunities. 

After breakfast, you will set out on a guided Moscow City Tour. See the region’s over 800-year-old history unfold as you visit some of the city’s iconic historic sights. The first stop is at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Red Square, which is also the city’s main square dating back to the 16th century. Most legendary attractions comprise this square, from St. Basil’s Cathedral, instantly recognizable for its onion-shaped domes, and the massive GUM Department Store to the fortified structure of Kremlin and Lenin's Mausoleum. Take time to marvel at the marvelous cathedrals, the palace of ancient emperors and souvenirs, the President of Russia’s residence, and other monuments that span diverse eras. Before the tour ends, you can take in Moscow from the city’s highest vantage point, the 220-meter-high Sparrow Hills.

As the day kicks off with a delightful breakfast session, you will have the flexibility to design today’s travel program. If you need inspiration, you can choose from two captivating options. The first option invites you for an exploration of the vibrant Arbat Street on a walking tour. Immerse yourself in its effervescent settings as you see brilliant artists and musician and also enlighten yourself on the history of some of the renowned Russian personalities. 

Speaking of the second option, it is all about a tour of Panorama 360, Europe’s highest observation deck. Starting with an elevator ride that transports you to this deck on the 89th floor of the Federation Tower in less than a minute, it treats you with the most breathtaking city views. The best thing is that it hosts ice cream factory, Clean Line; it lets you witness the process of ice cream making up close, along the chance to savor them for free. Follow it up with a visit to VDNH (the Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy), a significant attraction of the Soviet era. 

Following breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and proceed to the railway station. You will board the high-speed Sapsan train for a smooth transition to the country’s second-largest city, St. Petersburg, on a comfortable four-hour journey. Enjoy a warm welcome as you reach here, and you are now all ready to explore the city on a guided tour.

Feel the grandeur of Nevsky Prospekt in the city’s historic heart, surrounded by an ensemble of historical architectural marvels. Visit the Palace Square (the venue of significant events like the tragic Bloody Sunday), pass through the delights of St. Issac’s Square and Senate Square, stop at the monument of Horseman (dedicated to Peter the Great), glance into Vasilyevsky Island, and see the compelling Peter and Paul Fortress, touted as the city’s birthplace.

Before you retreat to your accommodation, you will embark on a scenic cruise, allowing you to witness the city’s iconic sights, including castles, palaces, cathedrals, churches, and residences of the nobility, from a marvelous standpoint on the water.

Today, after breakfast, you have an entire day to explore the city at your comfortable pace. To make the most of the day, you can also select one of the following options: 

Option 1 - Hermitage Museum: Located on the banks of the Neva River, this museum is a part of the celebrated Winter Palace, once the Russian imperial family’s residence. 

Option 2 – Fabergé Museum: A guided tour of this museum gives you a rare chance to admire the historic art pieces created by Carl Fabergé, a brilliant 19th-century Russian jeweler.

Option 3 - Tsarskoye Selo (Pushkin) Tour: It leads you to some of Pushkin’s most extravagant attractions, mainly Catherine Palace, featuring the mysterious Amber Room.
