Explore Bern – Switzerland’s Heritage

Welcome to your Swiss adventure with Europamundo! Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel where you can relax and enjoy some free time. In the afternoon, check the information boards in the hotel reception area for details on the start of your exciting journey.

Begin your day with a scenic drive to Bern, the charming capital of Switzerland, known for its beautifully preserved Old Town. Take in panoramic views from the Rose Garden, and enjoy leisure time to explore the city center.

Next, wind through alpine roads dotted with postcard-perfect villages and traditional Swiss chalets as we enter the Gstaad region, a renowned ski destination. Here, you’ll ride the Glacier 3000 cable car, where spectacular views and a thrilling suspension bridge await. A delicious lunch at the summit is included.

Continue to Lake Geneva, surrounded by vineyards and known for its pleasant climate. We’ll tour the iconic Chillon Castle (entry included), perched dramatically over the lake. Then, enjoy a scenic drive through Montreux before reaching Geneva by evening.

Start with a panoramic city tour of Geneva, home to international organizations and famed for its lakeside beauty. Admire landmarks like the Palace of Nations, the English Garden, and the soaring Jet d’Eau fountain. Free time follows for personal exploration and lunch.

We then journey along Lake Geneva to Lausanne, where a stop at the Olympic Park honors the city’s sports heritage. Next, visit the fairytale village of Gruyères, famous for its cheese. Don’t miss the nearby Cailler Chocolate Factory, where you'll enjoy a delightful tasting session.

Our day ends in the bilingual city of Fribourg, known for its medieval architecture and blend of French and German cultures.

Travel through the scenic Bern canton, with rolling hills and charming countryside views. We’ll stop for photos at either Schwarzenburg Castle or viewpoints over Lake Thun or Lake Brienz, depending on the route.

Next, we visit Interlaken, nestled between two stunning lakes, and continue to the dramatic Aare Gorge (entrance included), where lunch is also provided. We then cross the majestic Susten Pass, known for its alpine glaciers and panoramic vistas.

Passing through the Gotthard Tunnel, we enter Switzerland’s Italian-speaking region, stopping in the quaint lakeside village of Gandria. From here, enjoy a relaxing boat ride to Lugano, a city famous for its Mediterranean vibe and lakefront promenade. Our final stop today is Chiasso.

After breakfast, explore Bellinzona, capital of Ticino, and home to three stunning medieval castles (UNESCO-listed). Then, cross the scenic Gotthard Pass and stop for photos before arriving in Altdorf, legendary hometown of William Tell, a Swiss folk hero.

After lunch, head to the picturesque city of Lucerne—Switzerland’s tourism capital. Visit iconic landmarks like the Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke), Lion Monument, Jesuit Church, and the historic Old Town. By evening, return to Zurich.

After a hearty breakfast, your Swiss tour concludes, leaving you with unforgettable memories of mountains, lakes, castles, and culture.
